How we will
work together
Having an independent celebrant to design and lead the ceremony gives you the support you need right from the start. I can give you as much or as little help as you need to create the perfect service. You can rely on me to communicate with others involved in planning a ceremony, for example your funeral or wedding arranger.

1
First meeting
If we are planning a funeral/celebration of life service I will sit with you, and take the time to understand your loved one and the life they lived.
For a couple getting married I would love to hear you story too and get to know you as a couple. For any type of ceremony I would be guided by you as to the tone of the service that you are looking for.
2
Writing the eulogy & service
For a funeral/celebration of life I can write a tribute (some call this the eulogy) on your behalf if you want me to, based on information you share. Or I can support you to write it if you prefer and needed any help. I will work with the funeral arranger to prepare the order of service and to order any music you want. I will design a service with you and write a script that includes, for example, songs/music, readings, poems or words that have meaning for you. No element is compulsory, you do have choices.
The process is similar for weddings and naming ceremonies which often include rituals to help to celebrate the event.
3
On the day
My role is to support you all on the day to make sure that the service is delivered as intended, to hold the space for you to honour your loved one's life, or to make your vows.
The service will reflect the life, union or event being celebrated and will be one that you are more than happy with. If you or others want to speak or read any parts of the service then we plan that in and I can support them on the day.
